Together We Stand Foundation was founded by me in 2013 after I read one of the most heart wrenching articles written by journalist Madga Gad about Nobel Prize winner Dr. Denis Mukwege’s work and the war in Congo that is currently happening in silence. The rest of the world has remained silence throughout the years of pure genocide, due to the fact that this particular war provides us the west with minerals which are key components in creating technology.

The article starts like this: In Congo it is more dangerous to be a female than a soldier. Rape, torture and humiliation are used as weapon - majority of the victims are children. Today their only hope are the doctors that dare to work here. Doctor Mukwege is one of them. When he appealed for an intervention from the rest of the world he became the victim of attempted murderer...

One Person Can’t Do Everything, But Everybody Can Do Something.

Helping others has always been natural to me. And I know a lot of people feel the same way without knowing where to direct their helping hand, whilst feeling secure that their full help reaches the intended destination. Together We Stand Foundation is a 100% non-profit organization which means that all of your donation reaches the donatee. All our workers are volunteers. We provide medical care, food supply, essentials, and school material.

We have worked with over a dozen orphan homes that consist of 80-150 children each from different places in the world such as Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Somalia and Vietnam. Together We Stand Foundation won the Bayer Role Model 2017 award, there were 330 applicants from 58 countries.
